One of the ways we seek to grow in faith is through Christian education. Some of our regular programs are featured below.

We hold Sunday School classes for ages 3 to adult during the school year (September through May) from 9:15 am-10:15 am. Classes are organized by age group. This year  the children’s classes include the following levels: PreK & K, 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, Jr. High (5th-7th) & High School. Pre-K through 4th grade participate in Children’s Choir practices as part of Sunday School. The Jr. High School Class includes preparation for the Puppeteers, who present puppet skits for children in worship on the 4th Sunday of the month through the School Year. There is one current adult bible study. For more information about Sunday School, please contact Coordinator, Staci Thompson.

In Confirmation a youth who was usually baptized as an infant or younger child makes their own personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ and makes an intentional commitment to become an active member of the congregation. In preparation for confirmation, 8th graders (or equivalent age) spend the best part of the year learning more about God, the Church, the Bible, and what it means to follow Jesus in the world, from a Presbyterian perspective. Confirmation classes usually take place during the Sunday School hour.

Our VBS is one of the highlights of the year! Children age 4-11 (or 5th grade) are invited to participate in a week of exploring bible stories through storytelling, music, games, and crafts. Yummy snacks are served each day. This year’s VBS “Breaker Rock Beach” was held from July 29-Thursday, August 1st, 9 am-11 am.
