Presbyterian Women

WFPC hosts a chapter of the Presbyterian Women, called the PW-Ruth Circle, whose purpose is “…to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.”
Ruth Circle

All women of the church are welcome to join the PW as members or guests for any or all activities. The PW-Ruth Circle meets monthly, usually on the third Tuesday of the month, for bible study and event planning. The PW women lead efforts such as:
- The Church World Service Blankets Program collection
- The Birthday Offering collection
- The Mother’s Day fundraiser of geraniums and hanging baskets
- The Church World Service Kits collection
- The Fall Turkey Dinner
- The Thank Offering Service
- Memory Angels for the Christmas tree
- Christmas Cookie Walk and Bazaar fundraisers
- Organizing church luncheons for funerals as requested
